Showing now at macarts.co.uk I’ll get the final film edited in a couple of weeks, when the third screen is going up. It’s been an interesting experiment of exhibiting 4:3 footage shot years ago on 16:9 screens. My solution – Text, which also gives a pointer towards the context, given there’s no audio.
I think the original needs some colour grading also, lt looks rather flat compared to today’s edit. Colour correction has come on rather a lot over the past 6 years.
Although when I mention this to the curator, she says how she likes the ‘archive look’ of the first film, hmm what to do?
Here it is – including the infamous ‘Fish Sequences’ – one of my best days at work ever!
